They say that well-behaved women seldom make history. And when we think of the women who inspire us today, it's the boundary pushers and outright rule breakers who capture our hearts and encourage us to dream beyond what is to what could be.

Women like Katharine Hepburn. Amelia Earhart. Even fictional trailblazers like Titanic's Rose or Tomb Raider's Lara Croft, to borrow a modern example. These unruly, take-the-reins, wind-in-your-hair types weren't afraid to break the rules. They're the kind of women to buck tradition. To dress for themselves.
