You might be wondering why I chose to create riding trousers when most riders tend to wear jodhpurs or the more recently popular leggings. The answer lies in a passion that began years ago, when I fell in love with classical dressage. I found myself completely captivated by the elegance and harmony of this riding style, riders like Anja Beran, Heather Moffett, Sylvia Loch, and the iconic Spanish Riding School, more recently Philippe Karl's Ecole de Legerete.

I was particularly inspired by the trousers often worn by classical riders. They seemed so effortless in the saddle-flowing with the rider's movements, a still hanging leg and subtle aids, all while the horses moved with such power and grace beneath them.

When I searched for riding trousers in the UK, I couldn't find any. Eventually, my instructor introduced me to a pair, and I ended up wearing them for a decade (I still have them!). But when they were discontinued, I realised just how rare they were, and how much I wanted to bring them back. Riders at my livery yard would often ask where I got them, which made me confident there was a growing demand for something different.

So, I set out to design my own. I envisioned trousers that were less bulky, more feminine, elegant, something that could transition seamlessly from the saddle to everyday wear. They had not only look the part, but to feel good to ride and train in. Today, I'm proud to say I am on the second version of my riding trousers, and I am committed to perfecting them even further with each release.

For me, these trousers are more than just a product, they are a celebration of classical dressage and a tribute to the grace and connection between horse and rider.
